Lumbre

Lumbre is a restaurant defined by fire, territory and experience. Their space, philosophy and cuisine already had a powerful identity offline—warm, intimate, elemental. The project was to translate that essence into a digital presence that felt equally immersive and intentional.

My role was to design and develop the website so that its visual language, rhythm and interaction reflected the way Lumbre lives: slow, precise, crafted with purpose.

Concept

The website concept centered around the experience of being inside Lumbre. Not just showing plates or interior images, but conveying:
the glow of embers,
the softness of light,
the movement of hands at the grill.

The interface uses generous spacing, warm tones, and subtle transitions to evoke heat, calm, and closeness. The storytelling is paced, inviting the visitor to slow down—just as one does when dining there.

Design System

The visual system draws directly from the brand’s materiality and atmosphere: dark textures, warm highlights, serif typography with character, and photography that emphasizes process and fire.
The layout prioritizes immersion over information density, allowing the identity to breathe.

Interactive elements are quiet and intentional—hover states, fades, scroll reveals—designed to support the narrative rather than distract from it.
