Doma

DOMA is a studio of architecture, interior design, and art advisory based in Mexico. The project consisted of creating a visual identity that reflected the studio’s holistic approach: a seamless integration of architecture, interiors, and art, with attention to detail at every stage. The brand needed to convey expertise, trust, and timeless elegance while expressing a contemporary and refined aesthetic.

Concept

The name DOMA evokes the idea of “home” across cultures, a place of safety, comfort, and personal expression. Based on this notion, I developed a visual system that communicates harmony and sophistication: a refined and understated typography that conveys professionalism and warmth; a color palette inspired by natural and architectural materials, combining soft neutrals with elegant, deep tones; and a clean, modular composition designed to integrate seamlessly with project photography, interiors, and art installations.

The goal was to build a coherent and flexible identity that reflects DOMA Studio’s ability to orchestrate architecture, interior design, and art into a unified residential experience.

Logotype

I designed a logotype with precise lines and balanced proportions. The typography conveys reliability, clarity, and sophistication. The logo is intended as a supportive presence rather than a dominating symbol, echoing DOMA Studio’s philosophy: a guiding hand throughout the home creation process.

It adapts elegantly across digital and physical applications, much like a carefully curated space evolves with architecture, furnishings, and art.

Color Palette

The color palette draws from natural and architectural influences: soft neutral tones for balance and serenity; deeper accents that evoke materials like stone, wood, and metal; and warm highlights that create a sense of intimacy and comfort.

This palette is flexible and timeless, allowing each residential project to shine while maintaining a cohesive brand identity that supports both the studio’s portfolio and its client communications.

Applications

I developed visual elements for both the studio’s communication and client experience, including business cards, project presentations, interior signage, social media graphics, and digital storytelling assets.

The identity is designed to coexist with diverse architectural and interior styles, as well as the artwork integrated into each project. The system is unobtrusive yet distinctive, capable of adapting to different scales, materials, and environments while preserving coherence and elegance.

Brand Language
and Voice

The communication celebrates the art of living well, emphasizing spaces, objects, and art that enhance everyday life. The verbal identity expresses simplicity and confidence through phrases like “Architecture with purpose,” “Your home, unified,” and “Spaces that speak.”

The tone is reassuring and refined, reflecting DOMA Studio’s commitment to guiding clients through a seamless, fully integrated experience in architecture, interior design, and art.
